We have something really fun for you: on September 8, you can participate in the Pure Energie Kidsrun! Will we see you at the start as well?
Imagine cheering grandparents, dads and moms and all the high fives you give. This is not just any kid run; this is THE kid run for all the little speedsters and young heroes. It doesn’t matter if you are the fastest sprinter in the class or just enjoy running – this kids run is for everyone!
850 m fun
You run a lap of about 850 meters and you start and finish in the Volkspark. And did you know that the Volkspark is celebrating its 150th anniversary this year? So double celebration!
After the finish, an awesome medal, fruit, water and a Volkspark full of fun and entertaining activities await you. So, put on your gym shoes, get your friends together and come to the Pure Energie Kidsrun. Let the fun begin, feel the wind through your hair and run with us!
Cheaper registration with registration link for elementary schools
Through participating Enschede elementary schools, children can register for €1.50. After the summer break, elementary school children will receive a flyer through participating schools that includes a special registration link and discount code. Some schools also communicate the code through their newsletter before and/or after summer vacation.

Online registration with registration link for schools closes Wednesday, Sept. 4, at 6 p.m. unless the maximum number of participants is reached earlier. Then registration closes earlier.
Individual registration (without registration link for elementary schools)

If you do not receive a flyer with special registration link for schools then of course you can still participate! You then enroll individually. The cost for this is €3.00.

Individual online registration for the Singelloop Kidsrun closes Friday, Sept. 6, at 6 p.m., unless the maximum number of participants is reached earlier. Then registration closes earlier.

Bouncy castles, climbing wall and more
Finished running? Then it’s time to play! In the Kids Zone you will find bouncy castles, assault courses, a mobile climbing wall, cardio drumming workshops and many more fun activities! The Fit & Fun Team, FC Twente KidsClub and the YoungReds will of course be there again!
Discover a new sport!
In the Sportzone you get to know all kinds of Enschede associations, which present their offerings. Maybe you’ll get a taste for judo, badminton or free running!

Through participating Enschede elementary school, children can register for €1.50. No, post-registration is unfortunately not possible.

At 12:30 p.m. there will be a joint warm-up for all children from the various kid runs. The site of the warm-up is clearly marked on the event grounds on Sept. 8.
Picking up children at end of exit street
After the finish line, you can pick up your child(ren) at the end of the exit lane. This is a gated street through which all the children walk. Here they will receive their medals, water and fruit. At the end of this exit street, children can be picked up.
It is not permitted to enter the exit street to face children.
Tip: Agree with your child(ren) where you will stand to pick up your child and write down your phone number on the back of the start number just to be sure!
Registered with special link for Enschede elementary schools?
Your child(ren) will then receive their start number through school the week of the Singelloop.
Individually registered (not through school) through Aug. 16?
Children who registered individually (not through school) by Aug. 16will receive the start number at home. The start number will be mailed the week of the Singelloop to the address entered at registration.
Individually enrolled (not through school) on Aug. 17 or later?
Children who registered individually (not through school) on Aug. 17 or later can pick up their start number during the Singelloop weekend in the Volkspark:
Saturday, September 7: 1 p.m. – 5 p.m.
Sunday, September 8: 09:00 – 30 minutes before the start
We encourage you to come on Saturday, Sept. 7 to avoid any wait times before the start!
Of course, there will be that well-deserved and beautiful Singelloop medal waiting for all children after the finish line!
Medal engraving
When registering through August 16, you can check that you would like to have your medal engraved for an additional €7.00. A symbol is then printed on your start number, proving that you paid for this.
Didn’t indicate medal engraving at registration, but still want it on Sept. 8? No problem. You can also decide this on the spot! You will then pay €9.00.
From the start at the Menzis arch, the children walk toward Loetje. They then turn left onto Park Road. Via Parkweg and Volksparksingel, these little speed demons sprint back into Volkspark where they finish after 850 m!
Where can I encourage?
Cheering can be done along Parkweg and Volksparksingel or in the Volkspark, for example on the stands in the Fanzone.
PRACTICAL INFORMATION
A maximum of 1 parent/guardian per child is allowed to run in the kids run for the lower grades (grades 1 + 2 and grades 3 + 4). The safety of the children is paramount; therefore, more than 1 parent/guardian is not permitted to accompany a child. So keep this in mind!
Please note: If you are running with your child from the underclass, you will take your seats in the back of the starting box. Give space to children running without a parent. They start at the front!

Drumming on a skippy ball? You can!
Somnium Music
gives several super cool workshops, you don’t have to sign up in advance. If the workshop is full you just slide into the next one. Clown Gigi is also on hand again. When he starts his show it doesn’t escape you! This musical clown sings, makes balloon figures, does theatrical plays and can do magic.
Should you have any questions during the day or unexpectedly lose each other, please visit the Information Point. Children who have lost their parent/caregiver are advised to come here/be brought here. The exact location is clearly marked in the Volkspark. It can be identified by large banners with Information on them.
